Sophia Dahan

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Student Intern
Under the Supervision of Alyssa Bonneville, PhD, RP

I'm a dedicated psychotherapist in training, deeply committed to helping you achieve mental well-being through evidence-based approaches. My primary focus is nurturing a strong and trusting client-therapist relationship, which is fundamental for positive change and emotional healing.

I offer a warm, empathetic, and compassionate counselling style, grounded in three proven therapeutic modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps identify and modify negative thought patterns; Person-Centered Therapy, which places you at the centre of your journey, emphasizing self-acceptance and personal growth; and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, a goal-oriented approach focused on immediate changes to alleviate distress and enhance functioning.

My approach with clients is that of a curious and non-judgmental stance, recognizing that everyone has a unique path that has led them to the present moment. Understanding and respecting your individuality are essential to therapeutic outcomes. With a flexible, integrative, and collaborative approach, my aim is to tailor therapy to your unique needs, reduce distress, and empower you to find happiness, balance, health, and well-being.

Thank you for considering me as your partner in this profound journey. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you on your path to emotional wellness.
